"Loving" is coming to campus. We repeat, "Loving" is coming to campus for free!  Tomorrow night, the American University Methodist Student Association is hosting a viewing of the critically-acclaimed film.

"Loving" is a historical drama, telling the story of Richard and Mildred Loving, the iconic plaintiffs from the 1967 U.S. Supreme Court decision Loving v. Virginia. Loving v. Virginiais known as a landmark decision for invalidating state laws preventing interracial marriage. The film stars Joel Edgerton and Ruth Negga as Richard and Mildred.

Still need more persuasion? Watch the trailer below.

The "Loving" viewing is a highly anticipated event, following their successful showing of "Moonlight" just a few weeks ago. AU Methodists will also be holding an optional discussion after the screening, for those moved by the film and all it represents.

If a chance to watch "Loving" for free still isn't good enough, pizza and drinks will also be served. Come out to the Gianni Lounge (MGC 200) on Tuesday, March 7 at 9 p.m. to watch.

RSVP here.
